Kamaunu Kahaiali‘i is a respected and beloved Kahu, Kumu, cultural practitioner, and lifelong West Maui resident with over 40 years of cultural practice and 20 years as a Kumu of Hawaiian Studies, shaping generations through mele, oli, mo‘olelo, and aloha ‘āina. Kamaunu serves as Director of Hawaiian Studies & Culture at Maui Prep Academy, President of Save Honolua Coalition, founding member of Hui Pono Ike Kanawai, member of Nā Kupuna o Maui, Lahaina, and previously served as Indigenous Innovation Specialist for Maui County guiding community-centered recovery and cultural resilience. His leadership continues to uplift Maui’s next generation while preserving the cultural knowledge and values that define our island’s identity.

Linn Nishikawa

Linn Nishikawa is an award-winning marketing, public relations, and community engagement professional with more than 35 years of experience supporting Maui’s people, businesses, and recovery efforts. As founder and President of Linn Nishikawa & Associates, Inc., she leads strategic outreach initiatives that strengthen economic resilience, elevate local voices, and help communities access clear, trusted information.

Her team supports key County of Maui communication platforms—including MauiNuiStrong.info, MauiRecovers.org, and MauiNuiFirst.com—focused on recovery, business support, and community empowerment. A longtime advocate for locally driven solutions, Linn is dedicated to building capacity for small businesses and nonprofits and creating spaces where residents feel supported and connected. As a founding board member of Aloha Amplified, she brings deep commitment, cultural grounding, and a passion for Maui’s long-term resilience.

Lori Nishikawa

Chief Operating Officer / Secretary

Read Lori's Story

Lori Nishikawa is a creative strategist, product designer, and systems thinker whose work centers on community-focused innovation in Hawai‘i. As President of Quovadis Design, she leads projects across product development, branding, websites, and user experience—helping mission-driven organizations communicate clearly and design tools that serve their communities well.

Her career includes global design work for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Boston Consulting Group, experiences that shaped her approach to solving complex challenges with empathy and purpose. Since founding Quovadis Design in 2019, Lori has dedicated much of her work to nonprofit initiatives, environmental stewardship, and Maui’s long-term recovery. She also co-founded Hawaii Seascapes, a coral restoration effort that reflects her deep commitment to Hawai‘i’s natural resources.

Through Aloha Amplified, Lori brings strategic insight, creativity, and a strong belief in community-led solutions to help build a resilient and connected future for Maui.

Casey Morrin

Casey Morrin is a dedicated branding and graphic design professional whose work centers on visual storytelling that uplifts community, culture, and purpose-driven organizations. As President of Kirei Concepts, she creates thoughtful, resonant designs that help nonprofits, small businesses, and public projects share their mission with clarity and authenticity.

A graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Casey’s career includes serving as Lead Graphic Designer for Linn Nishikawa & Associates, where she helped shape campaigns that reached residents across Maui County. Her design approach is rooted in empathy, aesthetic excellence, and a belief that visuals can inform, inspire, and bring people together. Through her role with Aloha Amplified, Casey contributes her creative expertise to strengthen community outreach and amplify stories of healing, resilience, and connection.

Tonata Lolesio

Read Tonata's Story

Tonata Lolesio is a well-respected educator and community leader who has served as Principal of Sacred Hearts School in Lahaina since 2020. A longtime West Maui resident and Lahainaluna graduate, she spent nearly two decades teaching at Sacred Hearts before stepping into school leadership. Following the 2023 Lahaina wildfire, Tonata guided the school through one of its most challenging chapters, ensuring students and staff had stability, support, and a new temporary campus, while planning for Lahaina’s future school rebuild. Honored with the 2024 National Catholic Educational Association “Lead, Learn and Proclaim” Award, she brings compassionate leadership, cultural grounding, and a deep commitment to Maui’s keiki to her role on the Aloha Amplified Board of Directors.

Travis Morrin

Travis Morrin is a Hawaiʻi-based entrepreneur, restaurateur, and fine-art photographer whose work is rooted in place, culture, and storytelling. Raised on Maui, he is the co-owner of acclaimed restaurants Three’s Bar & Grill and Fork & Salad, known for chef-driven menus, thoughtful sourcing, and a welcoming island-inspired atmosphere that emphasizes connection—to food, to people, and to the land. Alongside his hospitality work, Travis is a highly regarded landscape and volcanic photographer whose imagery—often centered on Kīlauea—captures the evolving power and beauty of Hawaiʻi with technical precision and deep reverence. His photography, showcased through Travis Morrin Photography, has been featured in galleries, publications, and private collections. Across his creative and business pursuits, Travis brings a consistent philosophy: create experiences that are authentic, elevated, and grounded in respect for Hawaiʻi and its people.

Nettie Aquino

Nettie Aquino is a well-respected community leader and the Executive Director of Nā Kia‘i O Maui, a 501(c)(3) grassroots organization dedicated to supporting Maui families through crisis and long-term recovery. Raised in Lahaina and guided by ancestral values of kuleana and stewardship, she has spent her life serving the community she calls home. Following the 2023 Lahaina wildfire, Nettie led efforts to launch and operate the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center, providing critical supplies, support services, and a place of stability for thousands of displaced residents. Her hands-on leadership, cultural grounding, and unwavering compassion continue to uplift survivors and strengthen Maui’s collective healing.

Kalani Holokai

Read Kalani's Story

Kalani Holokai is a longtime Maui resident, community servant, and faith leader whose work is grounded in care, connection, and service. Raised on Moloka‘i and a graduate of Kamehameha Schools, she has lived on Maui for more than 40 years and brings decades of experience across the visitor industry and public health. Following the August 2023 Lahaina wildfires, Kalani began serving as Community Relations Coordinator for the Episcopal Church, working closely with Disaster Case Management programs and the Long-Term Recovery Group to support survivors and address unmet needs. She also serves as liaison to the diocese in the rebuilding of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church on Front Street, which was destroyed in the fire. A cradle Episcopalian and newly ordained Deacon, Kalani serves at Trinity by the Sea in Kīhei and Holy Innocents in Napili, bringing compassion, steadiness, and a ministry of presence to Maui’s healing and recovery.
